itz a dream come true to get selected in Accenture-one of the biggest
MNC's......
the lucky day which my dream convert into reality was 14th of jan.
when the company visited our campus....
it was a sunny morning when the selection procedure for company started...
The selection procedure consisted of three rounds:
1.Written Test comprising of 55 questions to b solved in 60
mins.(paper has 3 sections namely verbal,quantitative
ability,reasoning) + 1 essay to b written in 10 mins.......
2. HR Interview for checking our communication and speaking skills
3.Technical Interview to chk our technical knowledge
In the Written test 30 of the 659 appeared students were shortlisted
To my surprise my name was there....which made me amazed......
This made me realize one thing.........DON'T NEGLECT WRITTEN
TEST........it plays a very important role in selection
procedure...........
HR round was next..........
I went to him and the first question he asked me was tell me about
yourself........about ur hobbies??? and then the next was anything u
know about accenture......i was able to answer the questions with
confidence which impressed him and my HR round was cleared..........
Next and Last round was Technical.....i entered the room and the first
question he asked me was Tell me about Oracle....what is 'g' in Oracle
10g......various version of oracle........this shaked my
confidence......i couldn't speak anything as i had no knowledge of
oracle.....but finally i gained courage and said him frankly that my
area of interest was 'C' and i can't answer his question on Oracle as
i didn't study it.........He smiled........and asked me question on
'C'(basics of C)........I answered all of them...........I was then
asked to leave
I came out depressed as i thought I had lost it in the last
round.......I thought it was over for me as I couldn't answer anything
about oracle.......but they asked me to wait...
After a long and suspenseful wait of 1 hr.........they finally
announced I was selected.........I couldn't believe my
ears.........Suddenly whole of my depression got converted into
excitement........and i was on top of the world........
Finally they gave me the offer later and asked me to sign..........I
was happy to finally have the letter in my hand.......
But i understood one thing and wd advise everyone that don't go after
every language.........just select one and be very clear about it's
basics.......that wd b more than sufficient as u can see from my
case.......
This was my experience of Accenture Drive..........
Wishing all of you best of luck for the forthcoming companies and
hoping everyone has an offer letter before the completion of their
graduation.............
